The Healthy Generation – Growing up safe
Vision
The Safe & Healthy Growing Up Fund Collective supports a movement that contributes to the safe, healthy and resilient development of children and families. We believe that this is the best investment for enabling people to grow into positive, healthy citizens in society. We do this by investing in promising initiatives, encouraging collaboration and achieving a sustainable impact within the theme of prevention.
Context
The programme focuses on a healthy start in life and the prevention of traumatic childhood experiences. The focus is on the period from -1 year to 18 years, with particular attention to the first 1000 days. By combining knowledge, capital and strategy, we strive for systemic change and sustainable solutions.
Het Vergeten Kind
For years we have supported the Heppie Hotel in Mierlo, part of Het Vergeten Kind.
Because in our country live thousands of children who are struggling because they cannot develop safely due to an unsafe, unstable home situation. Or even can no longer live at home. These children are enormously vulnerable and need a place where they can let go of their worries and fears for a while. They can do that at Hotel Heppie in Mierlo.

In the Netherlands, we work on poverty with Kansfonds, Stichting Urgente Noden Nederland and Stichting 1 ouderpunt.
